Short version: Bingus Bungus is a party game, not a data business. There are no accounts, no passwords, and no database. We don't sell your information, and we don't want more of it than we need to run a game.
Only what's needed to play a game, and only while that game is happening:
Game data — names, photos, answers, scores — lives in the server's temporary memory only for the duration of the game. When the game ends or the room closes, it's gone. We do not save games, store your photos, or keep a history. There is no database.
The game stores a small amount of information in your browser's local storage — for example, a one-time confirmation that you're 18+, a random device ID (so a dropped connection doesn't duplicate you in a game), and the room code you last joined. This stays on your device, isn't a tracking cookie, and you can clear it any time by clearing your browser data.
We don't control these third parties' own policies, but we only use them to make the game work — not to profile you.
Bingus Bungus is intended for adults 18 and older and contains crude humor and references to alcohol, tobacco, and other adult topics. It is not directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Because we don't hold onto your data after a game, there's little to request or delete — but you can always clear your browser storage, and you can reach us with any question or concern using the contact below.
If we change how the game handles data, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
